As a lifelong Dallas native, Shelby grew up in an ever-changing creative climate that was rich in inspiration as it was diverse. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Art from Dallas Baptist University in 2013, she continued on to the University’s Graduate School, earning a Master’s Degree in Commercial Art in 2015. Shelby is now currently a Professor for the University’s Art and Communications Departments.
Shelby has been a Freelance Artist/Illustrator since 2015, with work being sold worldwide. She specializes in graphite, ink, pastel and watercolor. In the Summer of 2016 she had the exciting opportunity to be brought on as an Intern for Loudthought.
When she’s not teaching, illustrating, or interning, Shelby is usually grabbing coffee and heading to Watermark Church where she has been involved with her Community Group and the Young Adult Ministry, The Porch, for over a year.
